Foreign Site Reference Number (FSRN) Interim Measures

At a glance

• Interim measures will remain in effect until further notice.
• New FSRN applications will be reviewed when associated with a licensed Canadian importer or an active application for a site licence by a Canadian importer.
• Applications to renew FSRNs are not required, as FSRN validity period is extended until further notice, under certain conditions.
• A licensed Canadian importer can engage in a partnership with a foreign site without requiring a FSRN. The use of a FSRN is optional.
