Expert Advisory Committee on Veterinary Natural Health Products

The Expert Advisory Committee on Veterinary Natural Health Products (EAC-vNHP) provides the Health Products and Food Branch with recommendations regarding policies related to the development of a suitable regulatory approach for veterinary natural health products.

The Committee is currently comprised of twelve members of the public coming from different areas such as consumer organizations, veterinary health and industry sectors, research and academia, producers, and territorial regulating partners, bringing a well balanced mix of expertise and experience.

We all have a role to play in following the safety and the effectiveness of the veterinary natural health products that are to be marketed for use in Canada. The Committee contributes to the involvement of the public, giving you a forum to have your views considered by experts.
