QUICK TIP
When undergoing medical treatments such as chemotherapy, soft and semi-soft cheeses should be avoided, even if pasteurized.

Some health conditions and medical treatments can affect your body's ability to fight off harmful foodborne bacteria. If you are a person living with diabetes, cancer (especially when receiving chemotherapy), chronic heart, liver or kidney disease, HIV/AIDS or other illnesses, you can take simple steps to protect yourself.
