Background

Health Canada's Food Directorate is proposing changes to the Lists of permitted food additives(Lists) as part of the Department's modernization of Part B of the Food and Drug Regulations. The proposed changes to the Lists are described in the information document below.
The purpose of this communication is to publicly announce the Department's intention in this regard and to provide the appropriate contact information for those wishing to submit comments or for inquiries relevant to Health Canada's proposal.
