Program delivery update: Instructions related to open work permits and the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class open work permit pilot program – December 21, 2017

The program delivery instructions on the open work permit have been updated to remove the specific instructions for the spouse or common-law partner in Canada (SCLPC) class pilot program. In addition, the instructions on coding have been clarified, the instructions on restrictions that may be used have been clarified and the Labour Market Impact Assessment exemption code list has been updated, along with the instructions on when fees are applicable.

The program delivery instructions relating to the SCLPC class open work permit pilot program have been moved to their own page under the Pilots section. This pilot project has also been extended until January 31, 2019.
