December 9, 2011 — The Federal Court has issued its decision in the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants case.
The Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) remains the designated regulator of immigration consultants.
If applicants choose to use the services of an immigration representative, there is no change to the current requirement to inform Citizenship and Immigration Canada, including providing the name and other information of the immigration representative.
