As of December 30, 2023, we may have received enough applications to fill the available spaces. We’re assessing the ones that have already been submitted.
We’ll post more information on this page if we start to accept applications again for this category.
This program will create another option for migration to Canada. We’ll welcome up to 11,000 people who have family in Canada, and:
- are nationals of Colombia, Haiti or Venezuela, and
- currently live in South or Central America, Mexico or the Caribbean, and
- whose family member in Canada is:
- a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- your spouse, common-law partner, child, grandchild, parent, grandparent, or sibling
- willing to support your application
If you’re a national of one of these countries, this is a regular and safe way to come to Canada.
