Supporting Afghan nationals: About the special programs

The Government of Canada has welcomed Afghans through a number of special programs and measures.

We’ve received enough applications to fill all spots for our special programs.
We’ll continue to:

prioritize processing all eligible applications
help vulnerable Afghans through:
- our regular immigration programs, such as economic, family reunification and refugee resettlement programs
- other options and pathways, such as the Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot.
