Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) offers a virtual learning series to show employers how they can make use of Canada’s immigration programs and services.
Each session features a new topic and gives employers an opportunity to ask questions. Attend one or all sessions based on your interests and needs.

These 30-minute information sessions take place in the spring and fall each year. We’ll post details when they’re available.
Atlantic Canada’s virtual information sessions
Each 2-hour information session will
- feature a different Atlantic province
- provide an overview of the support available to employers
- explain how employers can hire foreign workers through pathways like
- the Temporary Foreign Worker Program
- the International Mobility Program
- the Atlantic Immigration Program
- Express Entry
- the provincial nominee programs

Overview of the Atlantic Immigration Program
This monthly 45-minute information session will show Atlantic employers how they can leverage the Atlantic Immigration Program to address permanent labour needs. During these sessions, we’ll discuss
- why employers may want to support candidates for permanent residence
- how this program addresses labour needs specific to the Atlantic region
- the roles and responsibilities of employers
- how IRCC’s dedicated service channel supports employers
