The National Seniors Council provides advice to the federal government on issues that matter to seniors.

Members

National Seniors Council members are nominated based on their expertise and experience related to seniors issues.

Priorities

The work priorities of the National Seniors Council are established by the Minister responsible for Seniors and the Minister of Health.

Following the completion of its work related to the care economy the National Seniors Council is now focusing on health and well-being, as well as safety and security.

Publications and reports

The National Seniors Council produces publications and reports based on its work priorities.

A number of services and resources are available to seniors, their families and their caregivers.
