Naval Experience Program
The Naval Experience Program is a one year, full-time enrollment option that provides you with exposure to life in the RCN to see if it is right for you before making a long term commitment.

Want to come back? The RCN is actively seeking to re-enroll former sailors who were fully trained in an occupation.
Regular Force (Full-Time)
Members of the Regular Force serve full time protecting Canada and defending our sovereignty. They are ready to respond at a moment’s notice to threats, natural disasters or humanitarian crises at home and around the world.
Reserves (Part-Time)
Members of the Reserve Force serve part time and their main role is to support the Regular Force at home and abroad. Reservists typically serve one or more evenings a week and/or during weekends at Naval Reserve Divisions close to their homes.
The Raven Program
The national program is designed to build bridges with Indigenous communities throughout the country and offer part-time or full-time employment with the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) upon successful completion.
Sea Cadets
The Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Program teaches knowledge and skills about seamanship, sailing, and traditions of the Royal Canadian Navy.
