The media are invited to a press activity on Government of Canada investments to strengthen the industrial and innovation capacity of organizations working in defence supply chains. For this occasion, Carlos Leitão, Member of Parliament for Marc-Aurèle-Fortin and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for CED, and Tim Watchorn, Member of Parliament for Les Pays-d’en-Haut, will showcase funding provided to two Laurentides organizations in order to support their integration and growth within national and international defence supply chains.
Parliamentary Secretary Claude Guay will provide opening remarks and announce federal measures to protect and support Canada’s forest sector on behalf of the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, the Honourable Tim Hodgson, at the Low-Carbon and Bio-Based Construction Forum in Montreal, Quebec.
The Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, the Honourable Tim Hodgson, will travel to Poland and France from February 17 to 20, 2026, to advance Canada’s energy priorities and support trade diversification and bilateral investment.
