The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs, and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, along with Pierre Moreau, Quebec Minister of Municipal Affairs and Land Occupancy, are pleased to announce that the municipalities of Îles-Madeleine and Grosse-Île will benefit from $4,053,741 under the new federal-provincial agreement relating to the federal Gas Tax Fund and the Government of Quebec's contribution over the next five years for major infrastructure projects. Specifically, the municipality of Îles-Madeleine will receive $3,517,246 and the municipality of Grosse-Île, $536,495.
