The Government of Canada's Industrial and Technological Benefits Policy has led to an important investment in an Atlantic Canada–based firm, securing jobs and economic growth in the Halifax area.
The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, on behalf of the Honourable Julian Fantino, Associate Minister of National Defence, today announced an investment of $385,000 in funding to improve infrastructure at the Armoury in Rouyn-Noranda, in support of the Canadian Armed Forces and to help create local jobs.
