On September 26, 2014, Daniel Miller, also known as Daniel Arthur Dengler Jr., was sentenced to 18 months in prison in Calgary Provincial Court after he pled guilty to the three charges under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA): misrepresentation; possessing a passport, visa, or other document for the purpose of establishing one's identity; and using a passport, visa, or other document for the purpose of entering or remaining in Canada.
