Prime Minister Stephen Harper today participated in a moderated question and answer (Q&A) session with members of both the Mississauga and Brampton boards of trade. The session took place at Millennium Gardens in Brampton and was moderated by Paul Woolford, Chair of the Mississauga Board of Trade. The Prime Minister was joined by Kyle Seeback, Member of Parliament for Brampton West.
OTTAWA – Jacques Gourde, Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister, for Official Languages and for the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec and Member of Parliament (Lotbinière–Chutes-Chaudière), will speak during the opening cocktail reception of the annual congress of the Réseau des cégeps et des collèges francophones du Canada on Thursday. Mr. Gourde will represent the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
Today, the Honourable Rob Moore, Regional Minister for New Brunswick and Minister of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency), attended the Afghanistan Memorial Vigil commemoration in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
