OTTAWA - The Honourable Lawrence Cannon, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, today announced that Air Canada, Air Transat, Skyservice Airlines Inc., Sunwing Airlines Inc., and WestJet Airlines Ltd., have been designated to operate additional air services between Canada and Mexico, in accordance with the recently-expanded bilateral air transport agreement between the two countries. In addition, Cargojet has been designated to operate all-cargo air services between Canada and Mexico.

The federal government and the Government of British Columbia are working together to help students with student loans. The Honourable Monte Solberg, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, and the Honourable Murray Coell, Minister of Advanced Education for British Columbia, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that works towards a federal-provincial partnership, making it easier for students to manage their student loans in the province of British Columbia.
