The Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of Labour and Minister of Canada Economic Development, today joined Denis Lebel, Member of Parliament for Roberval-Lac-Saint-Jean, in announcing that the Regional County Municipality (RCM) of Maria-Chapdelaine[1] will receive $5,827,067 in non-repayable funding for the development of seven new legs of the Véloroute des Bleuets in the Maria-Chapdelaine and Domaine-Roy RCMs. This project, whose aim is to raise the level of safety and quality of the cycle tourism route, will necessitate about $7.3 million in investments.
