- $4.9M to C.L. Malach Company (1997) Ltd. in Winnipeg to acquire state-of-the-art metal fabrication equipment to improve the speed, capacity and capability of the company’s production line servicing significant new demand from agriculture-based original equipment manufacturers and other specialty sheet-metal product manufacturers.
Regional Innovation Ecosystem
- $1M to Petroleum Technology Research Centre in Saskatchewan to support development of an Energy Innovation Hub. It will enhance the province’s physical research, testing, and laboratory capabilities to reduce emissions intensity and impacts of hydrocarbon production on land and water, while advancing other sustainable energy technologies such as geothermal power and subterranean pumped air storage.
Community Economic Development and Diversification
- $1.35M to Momentum Community Economic Development Society to expand entrepreneur resources for underrepresented groups and social ventures in Calgary.
