Empower your public health organization
Hosting a field epidemiologist through the Canadian Field Epidemiology Program (CFEP) presents a unique opportunity for your organization to enhance its public health capacity and make a lasting impact. Field epidemiologists, who are employed by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), are assigned to placement sites as part of their professional development. By hosting a skilled, trained professional for a 2-year placement, your organization can address pressing public health challenges while contributing to the growth of future leaders in the field.
The success of the program depends largely on the quality of our placement sites. These sites provide the mentorship and real-world opportunities that are essential to the overall learning experience. In return, placement sites gain access to highly qualified public health professionals who are eager to share their skills, knowledge, and fresh perspectives.
