Approval by the Public Service Commission to allow for the deployment of employees of the Office of the Intelligence Commissioner to departments and agencies subject to the Public Service Employment Act (25-03)
As of June 24, 2025, employees of the Office of the Intelligence Commissioner may be deployed to departments and agencies subject to the Public Service Employment Act.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) granted its approval after conducting a review of the Office of the Intelligence Commissioner’s staffing program. As part of the Framework for Deployment from Separate Agencies, the PSC will periodically or as necessary conduct a review of the separate agency’s staffing program to ensure that it remains compatible.
The new eligibility of employees of the Office of the Intelligence Commissioner for deployment to departments and agencies subject to the Public Service Employment Act is in addition to their existing eligibility to participate in internal advertised appointment processes open to employees of the public service.
