Staffing options to support employment equity, and diversity and inclusion, under the Public Service Employment Act (21-02)
The Public Service Commission is pleased to share newly developed guidance on staffing options to increase representation of employment equity groups and support diversity and inclusion.
The questions and answers, available on our website, provide information and guidance in these areas. They address how organizations can target subgroups, whether staffing measures can be used where workforce availability targets have been met, and how staffing measures can be used to address forecasted gaps.
The questions and answers were prepared in consultation with the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer and will continue to be updated based on your questions.
