Public Service Commission – Priority Entitlements Consultants

Priority Entitlements Consultants (PEC) are available to answer your questions regarding Priority Entitlements and the use of the Priority Portal. PECs can answer questions on the appropriate use of skill codes and job types, groups and levels for referrals, entitlements and the feedback process.

For all enquiries on workforce adjustment (WFA), we encourage you to contact the appropriate authority, which could include:

  • Your human resources (HR) advisor;
  • Your manager;
  • Your union representative; and/or
  • The Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer (OCHRO).

WFA includes issues such as alternation, salary protection, relocation and transition support measures. Please visit the OCHRO Web site for more information and examples.

Organizations

Priority Program Liaisons

Within your organization, the Priority Program Liaison:

  • Participates in the Priority Entitlements Program community of practice;
  • Actively participates in and engages others to resolve any issues related to persons with a priority entitlement; and
  • Is the main resource for your organization's HR advisors and the first point of contact for the Public Service Commission (PSC) on Priority Entitlements.

Super Users

Within your organization, the Super User:

  • Is the expert on the use of the Priority Information Management System (PIMS);
  • Disseminates information such as system enhancements and ensures these are effectively understood;
  • Provides training to other staff on the use of PIMS; and
  • Is the main resource for your organization's HR advisors and the first point of contact for the PSC on the use of PIMS.
