Managing Forced and Child Labour Risks in Canadian Supply Chains
Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is hosting a series of webinars to raise awareness on the risks of human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour in supply chains, highlight best practices, and facilitate ongoing dialogue with the supplier community.
This webinar will offer expert insights into forced and child labour risks in Canadian supply chains, including in the context of public procurement. It will explore how these risks differ across different types of organization, sector, and supply chain tier, and the growing importance of preventing and addressing forced and child labour, especially for Small and Medium Enterprises. The webinar will also provide insight into best practice for preventing, detecting, and addressing forced and child labour, drawing from the research and practical experience of ReStructure Lab, a research and policy initiative to address forced labour in supply chains based at Simon Fraser, Stanford and Yale Universities.
Who is this for?
This webinar is for businesses that are selling to the Government of Canada or that are interested in doing so.
