2nd Annual Industry Day on Federal Professional Services Procurement

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), in collaboration with the University of Ottawa Professional Development Institute, is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2^nd Annual Industry Day on Federal Professional Services Procurement.

The way governments buy professional services is evolving. There is growing interest in approaches that focus more clearly on the results to be achieved and how success will be measured. This Industry Day will bring together public sector buyers, suppliers and academia to discuss how governments can define clear, measurable outcomes while adapting procurement practices to give suppliers of all sizes the flexibility to propose and deliver effective solutions.

Participants will hear practical perspectives from:

• Supply Ontario, on the Government of Ontario’s shift toward outcomes-based procurement.
• Public Services and Procurement Canada, on the transformation of federal professional services procurement and initiatives supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
• the Business Development Bank of Canada, on supporting Canadian businesses.
• the University of Ottawa Professional Development Institute, on outcomes-based procurement.
