About the assessment

The Business-IB is a text development test that assesses a candidate's ability to react appropriately, in writing, to situations encountered in a senior level management position.

This test assesses the following Key Leadership Competencies (KLCs):

• Create vision and strategy
• Mobilize people
• Achieve results

The test also assesses the following EPSI competency:

• Client orientation

During the test, you will be invited to play the role of an employee from a fictitious organization and to review background information on the organization (for example, organizational chart, job description). You will be presented with 12 situations in a senior-level management position. These situations could include letters from outside the organization; memos from a superior, an employee or a colleague; or short reports on topics such as the budget or client service.

Your decisions and answers must be based on the circumstances stated in the information and the scenarios given in the test. You must respond to each of the situations in writing.
