Confirm your payment

Payments sent with your tax return may not always be reflected immediately on your notice of assessment (NOA) or the new Express NOA service that you have received. Below are the ways you can verify that your payment has been received by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

Individuals

You can confirm that the CRA received your payment by viewing your Accounts and payments tab in My Account.

If your payment was not applied to an account as expected, call us:

  • residents: 1-800-959-8281
  • non-residents inside Canada or the United States: 1-855-284-5946
  • non-residents outside Canada or the United States: 1-613-940-8499

Information from your current or previous CRA return is requested to verify your identity for the call.

Businesses

You can confirm that the CRA received your payment by viewing your Account balance and activities link in My Business Account.
