Filing and balance confirmation
A new link called Filing and balance confirmation has been added in My Business Account. This service provides a letter which shows if any returns or balances are currently outstanding on an account. The letter can be viewed online and downloaded through the View mail service in My Business Account.
Pensionable and insurable earnings review (PIER)
A new link called “PIER Overview” has been added in My Business Account. It shows an overview of PIER cases, a summary of discrepancies and a list of employees included in the PIER. Employers will be able to reply electronically to the CRA.
Form RC59, Business Consent, is no longer used to grant online access. Representatives need to complete an authorization request in Represent a Client or be authorized by owners through My Business Account to gain online access. Form RC59 still grants offline access.
