Alberta - 2025 Income tax package

If you are filing a return with tax software, you do not have to get the income tax package. Use the income tax package only if you are filing a paper return or need tax forms or schedules.

Using the income tax package

The tax package includes both the federal tax return and the provincial form, as well as other forms and schedules that may apply to you.

1. Download or view your return and provincial forms

   Federal tax

   • Income Tax and Benefit Return
     This is the main form you need to complete your taxes

   Alberta tax

   • Form AB428 - Alberta Tax
     Calculate the Alberta tax and credits to report on your return
     If you received business income from outside Alberta

     If you resided in Alberta on December 31, 2025 (or the date you left Canada if you emigrated in 2025) and all or part of your 2025 business income was earned and can be allocated to a permanent establishment outside Alberta, use Form T2203, Provincial and Territorial Taxes for Multiple Jurisdictions instead of Form AB428.
