Service Standards for the SR&ED Program before April 1, 2018

If you sent a complete scientific research and experimental development (SR&ED) tax credit claim before April 1, 2018, the following service standards apply:

• refundable claims – 120 calendar days of the date we receive a complete claim;
• claimant requested adjustments to refundable claims – 240 calendar days of the date we receive a complete claim;
• non-refundable claims – 365 calendar days of the date we receive a complete claim;
• claimant requested adjustments to non-refundable claims – 365 calendar days of the date we receive a complete claim.
