When using the Trust Account Registration service a trust account number will be given to you immediately after completing the online registration process.

By mail

After we process Form T3APP and assign a trust account number to the trust, we will mail the account number to the trust.

If the trust's filing deadline is approaching and you have not received the trust account number, do not delay filing your T3 return. You must submit your return and any amount owing when they are due to avoid a late-filing penalty and interest charges. File the return on paper and leave the trust account number space on the return blank.

Include the trust account number on all correspondence related to the trust.
