What would you say to getting together with colleagues to reflect on and talk about your translation process? In this half-day workshop, you’ll get a chance to do just that. You’ll also learn about the 3 main types of translators, ways to approach difficult-to-translate passages, and tips for improving your web searches. In addition, you’ll learn how to avoid concentration busters and gain some efficiency boosters that you can incorporate into your process.

You must already be involved in translating English-to-French texts.

The workshop is given in French; however, you are welcome to use the official language of your choice.

At the end of the workshop, you will:
- have reflected on the way you do your work, including some things you may want to improve or change
- understand the main steps in the typical translation process
- be able to perform better web searches
- be aware of some concentration busters to watch out for
