Pay Notes

  1. An employee shall, on the relevant effective date of adjustment to the rates of pay, be paid in the A, B, X and C scale of rates at the rate shown immediately below his former rate.
  2. Terminal Allowance: The terminable allowance remains at $15,936. This allowance is subject to the same conditions as in effect for the collectively bargained employees of the Patent Sub-Group of the Scientific and Regulation Group.
  3. Pay Increment Administration:
    1. Pay increment period full-time employees: The pay increment period for all employees is twelve (12) months.
    2. Pay increment date: The pay increment date for an employee appointed on or after , to a position in the group upon promotion, demotion or from outside the Public Service, shall be the anniversary date of such appointment. The anniversary date for an employee who was appointed to a position in the group prior to remains unchanged.
