| Canada Post Corporation |
Funding for operating expenses The Treasury Board approved an allocation of up to $200,000,000 to the Canada Post Corporation to maintain operations until the end of the fiscal year. Significant operating pressures have been created by losses brought on by the public’s increased use of private sector parcel delivery services and service interruptions resulting from labour disruptions over the past two years. These funds are primarily provided to offset the revenue losses due to labour unrest. |
