Les gouvernements du Canada et de l’Ontario investissent pour que davantage de foyers des régions rurales et des communautés de Premières Nations aient accès à des services Internet haute vitesse

Le 19 avril 2022, la ministre des Services aux Autochtones et ministre responsable de l’Agence fédérale de développement économique pour le Nord de l’Ontario, l’honorable Patty Hajdu, au nom de la ministre du Développement économique rural, l’honorable Gudie Hutchings, et la ministre de l’Infrastructure de l’Ontario, l’honorable Kinga Surma, ont annoncé un nouveau financement fédéral-provincial de plus de 56 millions de dollars destiné à six projets qui permettront de brancher à Internet haute vitesse les communautés suivantes du Nord et du Sud-Ouest de l’Ontario, y compris plusieurs communautés de Premières Nations.
