Recherche sur la COVID-19 – Besoins en données probantes

Des travaux de recherche additionnels sont nécessaires afin de poursuivre la lutte contre la pandémie qui évolue rapidement au Canada et à travers le monde. Le gouvernement du Canada, par l’entremise des Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada (IRSC), soutiendra, avec un investissement de 25,2 millions de dollars, pas moins de 52 projets de recherche visant à améliorer notre compréhension de la COVID-19 et à combler les besoins en données probantes sur cette maladie qui persistent.

Menés par des chercheuses et des chercheurs de partout au pays, ces nouveaux projets sur la COVID-19 seront axés sur des sujets comme les variants du virus, la mise au point de vaccins, l’adhésion à la vaccination, le dépistage, la santé mentale et les effets particuliers de la pandémie sur les femmes, les personnes racisées ainsi que les Métis, les Inuits et les membres des Premières Nations. Les conclusions de ces travaux guideront les décisions visant à améliorer la santé de tous.
