Apply to become a member of the National Advisory Council on Poverty: Step 3. What you need before you start

Current status of the call for applications: Closed

Thank you for your interest in the National Advisory Council on Poverty. The call for applications was open from December 18, 2018, to January 29, 2019 (23:59 PST).  Applications are currently being assessed and applicants will all be notified of the results in 2019.

Step 3. What you need before you start

Interested applicants are encouraged to refer to the Eligibility details, Terms of Reference, and read the Privacy Statement before submitting their application through the Application Questionnaire. The Questionnaire will be used in the assessment of how candidates meet the selection criteria for the area of Advisory Council membership to which they are applying. Applicants can apply to more than one stream.

The Questionnaire requests each applicant to clearly state their eligibility status, indicate their selection criteria stream, and respond to diversity questions. The Questionnaire also asks applicants about availability, fields of expertise, areas of knowledge, and previous experience related to poverty. The Questionnaire also asks applicants for examples that demonstrate the applicant’s previous experience with poverty, their level of involvement in relevant projects or initiatives (for example, role, duration of their involvement or time commitment, etc.), and their contribution and achieved results.

You may only submit one Application Questionnaire.
