An FCAC representative can cover a variety of topics.
Some of the most requested topics are:
- FCAC overview
- Resources and tools for managing money
- Financial literacy programs and initiatives (including the National Financial Literacy Strategy and Measurement Plan)
- Financial Literacy Month
- Regulation and supervision of financial institutions

What you need to know when submitting a request
- There is no cost to schedule a FCAC representative
- All requests must be submitted using FCAC’s online request form
- Your request should be submitted at least six weeks prior to your event or engagement
- Your request should provide detailed and complete information so we can assess your request efficiently and make a timely decision
- Any event with publicity (including media advisories, news releases, social media, promotional content, etc.) that mentions FCAC’s participation must receive FCAC’s approval prior to the publicity’s release
Please note, FCAC receives numerous speaking requests and considers each one. While we aim to reach as many Canadians as possible, logistical and time constraints may prevent us from accepting every invitation. If we are unable to attend your event or engagement, we will do our best to refer you to another organization or representative who can meet your needs. We aim to provide a decision within 15 business days after receiving your request.
FCAC might need to replace a representative or cancel an accepted request due to unforeseen circumstances. Should this occur, we will notify you as early as possible and will work with you to find an alternative.
