The fees for a Canadian passport are:

Additional fees
There are additional fees to replace a lost or stolen passport and to get other administrative services. These fees are added to the fee listed above. Contact your nearest Canadian embassy or consulate for more information.
Urgent requests
In most cases, it takes 20 business days to process a passport application.
If you need a passport urgently or in exceptional circumstances (illness, death), contact the nearest Government of Canada office abroad. Additional fees apply.

How to pay your fees
Before you pay
Remember to include your proof of payment (receipt) with your application and to keep a copy for your records. If you pay the wrong fees or don’t use one of the methods listed below, we may return your application without processing it.
Once we start processing your application, you can’t get a refund. Adult passport payments include a $25 consular fee. We’ll refund that fee if we don’t issue a passport.
Pay online
You can only pay online to
- get a new child or adult passport
- replace a lost or stolen passport
To pay your fees online you need
- PDF reader software
- a printer
- a credit or debit card
- a valid email address
When you finish, you must
- print a receipt of your payment
- include it with your application
Pay in person at a Canadian embassy or consulate abroad
This payment option is for
- retention of a valid passport, to keep your current valid passport with you while we process your replacement
- certified true copies
- urgent or express passports
