Pay your passport fee – Canadians outside Canada and the United States
These fees are for Canadians who are either picking up their passport or receiving it by mail outside Canada and the United States.

In most cases, it takes 20 business days to process a passport application.
Additional administrative fee for replacing a valid lost or stolen passport
You must pay this fee if you report a passport as lost or stolen and are applying for a replacement. This fee does not include the cost of new passport.

Retention of a valid passport
Pay this fee to keep using your current valid passport while we process your replacement.
Before you pay
Remember to include your proof of payment (receipt) with your application and to keep a copy for your records. If you pay the wrong fees or don’t use one of the methods listed below, we may return your application without processing it.
Once we start processing your application, you can’t get a refund. Adult passport payments include a $25 consular fee. We’ll refund that fee if we don’t issue a passport.
