Before you complete your assessment template, you should get your required and supporting documents ready.
Complete mandatory training
The following people must complete renewal training through the Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP):
- your sponsorship agreement holder’s (SAH) main contact
- all SAH representatives with sponsorship signing authority (they can submit sponsorship applications on behalf of the SAH)
You can also have other SAH representatives complete the training, but it isn’t required.
Contact the RSTP to find out how to complete renewal training
- by phone, at 1-877-290-1701
- by email, at etraining@rstp.ca
Include your training certificates with your assessment package.
For the 2022 assessment period, you have until February 1, 2023 to send us your training certificates if you don’t get them in time to include with your assessment package.

Make sure you have financial statements from the most recent financial year available that are
