Thank you Minister. I'd like to start by saying how delighted I am to be here in our internationally recognized National Microbiology Laboratory, and I'm so proud of the dedicated and talented staff here that we have working with us.
On October 30, 2014, at about 2 p.m., as a result of the vigilance of staff members, a package containing a number of contraband and unauthorized items was seized in the medium security unit at Joyceville Institution.
The Honourable Steven Blaney, Canada's Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, issued a statement following his meeting with G-6 counterparts in Paris.
