Overview
The objective of this guidance is to provide practical management information on all aspects of the pathogenesis, epidemiology, and management of tuberculosis (TB) in Canada. The guidance pertains to all individuals at risk for or confirmed to have TB infection or disease.
Development
The Canadian Tuberculosis Standards, 8th edition, are jointly funded by the Canadian Thoracic Society (CTS) and the Public Health Agency of Canada. They were edited by the CTS and published by them in collaboration with the Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Disease (AMMI) Canada. Each chapter is written by authors from across Canada with expertise in the specific topic.
