Changes to the Public Service Commission’s second language interviews for levels B and C (20-16)

The Public Service Commission is pleased to announce the release of a new version of its second language interviews for levels B and C. Test results for this version will be portable and valid for 5 years.

Since December 15, 2020, we have been administering these interviews remotely over the internet using a web conference tool (MS Teams) and verifying candidate identity. Once a candidate’s identity is confirmed, successful test results are portable across positions and valid for 5 years. We are documenting these test results and making successful results available to departments and agencies through our Test Results Search Tool and to candidates upon request.

We continue to offer accommodation services for these interviews. If using MS Teams poses an accessibility challenge for a candidate, we will work with the organization to make alternate testing arrangements.
