Public Service Commission assessments tools aligned with the new Key Leadership Competency profile
2017-01-16
Since the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer updated the Key Leadership Competency (KLC) profiles, the Public Service Commission (PSC) has updated its suite of assessment tools to reflect the changes.
The revised Simulations for the Identification of Leadership became available on January 4, 2017. It is a tool for development at the director level that complements the suite of tools at the executive level that assess the new KLCs.
On April 3, 2017, an updated suite of assessment tools at the manager level will become available. These include:
- Middle Manager Simulation Exercise (757)
- Senior Managerial Simulation Exercise (861)
- Simulation for the Identification of Senior Management Potential (862)
- Candidate Achievement Record (CAR)
The PSC welcomes the opportunity to speak to you about how these and other tools can be used to assess the new KLCs for selection or development.
