Canada Revenue Agency 2025 consultations on accessibility
Status: Closed
To create a barrier-free Canada by 2040, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is committed to:
- Identifying, removing, and preventing accessibility barriers
- Working to support the objectives of the Accessible Canada Act
As part of this commitment, the CRA consulted with organizations that support or serve persons with disabilities. Through the consultations, participants provided valuable insights on accessibility barriers and suggested improvements across the CRA’s programs and services. The input the CRA gathered through this exercise will help shape its 2026-2028 Accessibility Plan.
Consultation process
The CRA invited representatives from identified organizations that support persons with disabilities to participate in virtual roundtable discussions. The discussions were held in June 2025.
We would like to thank all those who participated for their valuable feedback.
What’s next
The CRA will include a summary of the consultations in its 2026-2028 Accessibility Plan, which will be published by December 31, 2025.
