T1 Final Statistics

Previous editions of the T1 Final Statistics were based on a stratified random sample of individual income tax and benefit returns. However, beginning with the 2011 edition, the T1 Final Statistics contains data based on all of the returns filed. The most recent assessment is used in the compilation of the statistics.

The tables use data from individual tax returns filed for the tax year. For example, the 2019 edition of the tables reports on returns from the 2017 tax year, which generally had to be filed by the end of April 2018.

• 2018 (for the 2016 tax year)
