What's new
As part of the 100-day Service Improvement Plan, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has launched new self-serve options to improve service delivery for Canadians.
Register again for a new CRA credential
A new self-service option has been added to allow you to regain access to your CRA account without the need to call the CRA. If you have been locked out of your CRA account because you forgot your sign-in information, you may now be able to regain access by going through the online registration process again. To get started, visit, Register for a CRA account - Canada.ca.
Manage balance
“Manage balance” is a new service that helps you take control of your debt. If you owe $1,000 or more, you will be brought directly to self-service options when you access My Account. These options allow you to:
- pay your balance in full right away or over time
- call to speak directly with a collections officer
- request a callback from a collections officer
The “Manage balance” service will not prevent you from accessing My Account, or the services within.
