Part I of the Excise Tax Act – Authorization to exercise powers or perform duties of the Commissioner of Revenue

Pursuant to subsection 37(1)Footnote 1  of the Canada Revenue Agency Act, I hereby authorize any person holding a position in the Canada Revenue Agency listed in the attached Schedule, or a person authorized to perform the duties of that position, to exercise or perform the powers, duties or functions of the Commissioner of Revenue under the provisions of Part I of the Excise Tax ActFootnote 2  that are set out in that Schedule.
