Do you want to learn how to better explain mistakes and weaknesses identified in a translation? Would you like to know where to find specific (technical) terms that will make your corrections even more credible? Then this is the workshop for you.

By identifying errors using the same terminology as language professionals, you will give more weight to your changes and be better equipped to assess the quality of a translation.

Specialists in translation or revision (French to English)

You must already be involved in translating or revising French-to-English texts.

The workshop is given in English; however, you are welcome to use the official language of your choice.

At the end of the workshop, you will know how to:

• name the main types of errors and weaknesses to root out in translations
• use reliable sources to effectively categorize errors
• be more confident when assessing the quality of a translation
