Subject: Rescission of section D.5 from the Directive on the Management of Procurement
Overview
On October 4, 2024, the Government of Canada rescinded the previously suspended Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
To align with this change, the Directive on the Management of Procurement is amended effective December 19, 2024, to remove section D.5, “COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel.” As the requirements in section D.5 were previously suspended on June 20, 2022, there is no change to departments.
